I'm Mary Koch, an artist based in Sans Souci, Greenville, SC, a vibrant and growing arts community. My work is rooted in creativity, exploration, and learning through art, using layered textures, colors, and materials to bring unique compositions to life.

I specialize in contemporary collage art, blending paper, paint, textiles, and found objects to create pieces that evoke emotion and tell a story. My artistic philosophy aligns with the words of Paul Klee: “Art does not reproduce the visible; rather, it makes visible.” I believe art should inspire curiosity, spark new perspectives, and encourage deeper connections.
